Unlike regular gaskets that are made from rubber these do not have any smell or taste whatsoever, and are easy to change since they will not bake rock hard like rubber does.    If you have ever struggled to change an old gasket you cannot help but notice the awful smell and the black soot that comes off the rubber.  And that is what you are potentially consuming with each drink.  Also fits the Promac and Laranzato Club models.

silicone gasket replacement

This is an awesome replacement for the OEM rubber group gasket. 6:00 and tight. so far it hasn't hardened. I recommend it to anyone faced with the issue that is guaranteed with the Rancillo machine.

Big improvement over OEM. Portafilter locks dead on six o'clock. Best CHEAP upgrade ever. Arrived fast. Totally satisfied. Will buy again if I ever need to.

Tighten Down

I have to really put effort into tightening down onto the grouphead to ensure no leaks...perhaps I need to reduce my pressure.

I suggest buying two. Given shipping costs and the likelihood of replacement.

Shipping was two days from Alberta to Ontario.
