Rhino Coffee Gear Dosing Scale

It does what it's supposed to do, but the screen is almost unreadable. Maybe I just received a dud, but the lcd screen has almost no contrast.

It's a good scale.
It's small enough to fit well on the drip tray. Not too tall, so you have more options of cup sizes can fit under your portafilter. Decent refresh rate, so you know how your shot is coming along. And cheap! So much cheaper than the other scales in this size and 0.1 gram resolution.

I’m new to dosing and weighing but I wanted the option to do so. This is such a nicely made little scale and works perfectly for this purpose. I hate to admit, I didn’t realize there is a lovely acrylic cover encasing the top of the scale so I was perplexed why it wouldn’t turn on! Once I figured out to pop off the cover, bingo! Nice to have included batteries too. The scale feels very well made for the terrific price point and although the surface is quite tiny, it does hold a dosing cup and cup of coffee, so good enough!
