This is the latest innovation from the manufacturer that brought you the extremely popular DF64 single dose coffee grinder.

The second generation of the DF64 incorporates all the learnings from the first generation as well as the DF64V and DF83.  The DF64 Gen 2 features an improved 250W motor, a plasma generator to reduce static and built-in anti-popcorn lid.  It also now comes equipped with a metal dosing cup, metal funnel, wood lid and a painted body for a long lasting and premium feel. 

We were so impressed with the results and quality of the 64mm DLC (Diamond-Like-Coating) burrs that we decided to include them with every DF64 Gen 2 grinder.  The 64mm DLC burrs combined with the powerful 250W motor and plasma generator will deliver consistency, minimum clumping and a fluffy grind that is usually only found in grinders double its price. 

The DF64 Gen 2 was designed with espresso in mind, but it is also very capable in the pour-over range.  The extremely low retention, compact size and stepless adjustment make it a perfect grinder for any home setup.

Solid grinder, accurate, infinitely adjustable. It is however very shrill when grinding. Wiah it was more growly than piercing, but considering it only has to run for a few seconds at a time it'a tolerable. It really is crazy fast, spitting out a pile of fluffy grinds in seconds. A couple of slight pushes on the bellows ensure any small bit of retention is blown out. I do kind of wish I'd opted for the variable speed version in some ways, but knowing that model can fairly easily choke on lighter roasts at lower speeds anyway makes me not feel like I'm missing out on that functionality all that much. Overall this is a solid, heavy, well-thought-out piece of kit. Hoping it lasts for years!

Nice Grinder

We have had our DF64 for a few weeks now, and have been happy with the purchase. Noticeably less fines vs our previous grinder. We like the single dose workflow much better than our doser style unit had.
Coffee Addicts were excellent to deal with, and would not hesitate recommending them.

Amazing Little Machine!

I added this grinder to my coffee setup because I needed something to test and try other coffee beans without having to take the hopper off my Libra and clean it out every time I wanted to try a different coffee. This grinder does the job WELL, Although it's slightly loud which I can get past as you are not grinding beans for an hour. It's super easy to adjust your grind size and I have had NO Static whilst grinding. The flavor I have gotten off the grinds has been well bodied and full of smooth notes.

I really don't know what else to say BUT if you are looking for a good single dose grinder which is well priced this one might be for you :)

An excellent investment

was going to buy another grinder with more features before a friend suggested I take a look at the DF64 Gen 2. What a revelation. A powerful motor, sturdy construction and simple operation. Sure, you have to measure out beans every time for the single dose feed, but the grind is consistent, with no lumps, and the tidy bellows to clean out the burrs. I am really impressed given the price point. Really pleased with my investment and highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality grinder at a reasonable price.
