La Pavoni Esperto Abile

The Esperto Abile is the top of the line model for the La Pavoni lever machines. It features the beautiful violin shape base from the Stradivari with wood accents, a group mounted pressure gauge for brew pressure profiling, a group head temperature strip and the elegant eagle boiler lid.  Lifting the lever raises the piston inside the group, allowing the water in the boiler to enter the brewing group and mix with the colder water. It reaches the right temperature and pre-infuses the coffee in the filter holder. The lever is then lowered, causing the piston to force the water through the coffee into the cup. The user therefore can vary the speed at which the water passes through the coffee, enabling a level of control not possible on an electric pump machine.

The Esperto Abile is also built to last due to the quality of the materials and its simplicity. This machine is largely constructed of cast brass with triple-plated chrome design.  The La Pavoni lever machines have a cult following and you will immediately understand why once you start experimenting with it.
