Great for espresso and Bambino Plus

I purchased this scale to get a more precise dose, and also to measure the beans in and liquid out when making espresso.
It fits nicely on the Breville Bambino Plus drip tray, so I can put my glass/cup on the scale, on the drip tray, and measure the liquid out while using the built in timer.
One slight annoyance is that it doesn’t always show measurements to the .1g, sometimes it’s .5 (I think if you have heavier stuff on there).
Overall very happy with it!

Not bad. But accuracy issues

It’s okay. I like that it has integrated timer. But the scale only ever moves in 0.5 increments not 0.1. Not as accurate as I had hoped/stated, especially for the money.

Hario Scale and timer

Admittedly, I’ve been eyeballing my dose of ground beans and read it’s best to measure 20g or less. First off the term dose for coffee was enlightening as much as the exact dose required.

I’m on a mission to learn more about making the perfect ‘crema’. I got my Hand Ground grinder from Coffee Addicts and have been making the perfect shots ever since. Adding accessories like the scale is all part of the process. The scale works well and is easily adaptable to weight or time.
