 The 1Zpresso (pronounced "Easy Presso") J hand grinder replaces the JX grinder and was designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind.  The silicone grip combined with the ergonomic handle will provide an easy grinding experience.  The J will perform best in the brewed and pour over coffee range.

The J now features the new foldable handle design for an increase stability when standing up, a reduce footprint and an improved knob design for smaller hands.

        Grind capacity

        I already wrote a review but noticed someone else had a question on grind capacity. The top part of the grinder holds about 20 g of beans. The lower part is large enough to hold the grinds from two fillings of beans, so that's probably why the features state 30-35g of grounds.

        The grinder was delivered quickly and with a nice surprise inside the package: some Double Bubble and Tootsie Rolls! Great touch.

        Add to that, this is a fantastic coffee grinder. I didn't know that a grinder could make such a difference in the quality of my coffee, but it is the change to bump up my morning cup I didn't know I needed.

        Excellent Hand Grinder

        The J is an excellent grinder. It is solidly built, grinds the beans with little effort, and provides a consistent particle size. The only drawback is that it only grinds about 20 grams of beans per batch - enough for 320 mL of coffee using my ratios of beans to water, but the ease of use makes up for this in that the time to grind is much shorter than using other grinders I have used. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5, but rounded it up to 5/5 for this review.

        Great upgrade

        Went from my porlex to the JX and its night and day.
