Great coffee when thermos preheated

Overall the machine is performing really well but there is one fairly significant issue. If the thermos is NOT preheated (e.g. when the brew later feature is used to make a pot in the morning), then the entire carafe is lukewarm. I wouldn’t have expected this to be an issue for a Breville product, particularly given their price range, but evidently the thermos draws too much energy out of the coffee when it heats up (because single cup brews come out at a nice temp). Will likely return id we are not able to resolve the issue.
