This Costa Rican selection from Finca Fátima is a vibrant example of how the Tarrazú region is redefining its identity through experimentation. While the area is traditionally known for washed coffees, this family-run farm uses a whole-cherry natural process to produce a cup that pops with vivid fruit and mellow sweetness. It maintains a signature polished clarity while offering an engaging, adventurous character. The farm's dedication to sustainable soil management and innovative microlot processing ensures a high-quality experience that supports environmental respect.
The bright strawberry and apple cider flavour notes were lovely, prominent and easy to taste while not being overly acidic which could have easily washed out the delicate rose floral notes. As described by the roaster, I found this coffee to have a lot of clarity and was very pleasant and easy to drink and enjoy. If you like lighter, fruit forward coffees. this is definitely worth a try!
