Nuova Simonelli Silicone Head Gasket 8.3mm

Unlike regular gaskets that are made from rubber these do not have any smell or taste whatsoever, and are easy to change since they will not bake rock hard like rubber does.    If you have ever struggled to change an old gasket you cannot help but notice the awful smell and the black soot that comes off the rubber.  And that is what you are potentially consuming with each drink.  Replaces Nuova Simonelli part# 02280020.V.

71 mm x 56.5 mm x 8.3 mm (Red) conical, for all of the older models of Nuova Simonelli, including the Program, Optima, Personal, Program VIP, Premier, Premier Maxi, Mac Digit, Mac Cup, Mac 2000, Oscar, Oscar II, Musica, Appia and Appia II. 

There is also an 7mm conical version of the head gasket that is compatible with the  above machines.

Newer models such as the Aurelia use the 9mm blue version.
