With intuitive controls and a high-resolution grind range, Baratza designed this grinder to simplify the process of dialing in the perfect shot. Elevate your home espresso game with the Encore ESP!
Beyond a great coffee-making experience, the Encore lets you explore new coffee flavors – With 40 individual grind settings, you can find the perfect grind size for all brewing methods. The hopper can hold 8 ounces of whole beans, and the clear grounds bin has a fill line to indicate how much to grind. Baratza intentionally designed the Encore to fit nicely under most kitchen cabinets without sacrificing power or quality and to bring value to your daily grind.
Features:
With 40 steps of adjustment, the Encore ESP is optimized for espresso from #1-20 and produces excellent filter grinds from #21-40.
40mm M2 conical burrs manufactured in Europe for consistent and precise grinds required for espresso and all brew methods.
The Encore ESP utilizes a simple and efficient direct drive gear reduction transmission to move power from the DC motor to the rotating cone burr. A thermal overload cutout protects the motor from overheating due to excessive use.
The 54mm dosing cup (and included 58mm adapter ring) make it easy to transfer grounds directly into a portafilter for less mess and an even distribution that's ready to tamp! Fits most home espresso machine portafilter baskets.
A combination of gear and electronic speed reduction to control the rotation of the burr to 550 RPM reducing heat, noise, and static generation in the grinder
JUNK. My Baratza is broken after 11 months. NO customer service. Scammer

Great grinder
The Encore ESP has been so far even better than I expected. I’m currently only using it for pour overs (Chemex), and the grind settings in the upper 20 range have been perfect for getting the right grind. I can’t wait to try this grinder with espresso. It’s a fairly simple grinder to use, but the burr set makes it well worth the money.
