I don't drink coffee, but I had to fix my daughter's grinder once because a little plastic part broke, did not cost too much THAT time, but now, I think it's dead, the main drive gear made out of plastic is split in two and it looks like that part is not available!
Everything else looks good, but I will have to junk it because a small plastic part isn't available!
I do hope she gets another make next time! Don't do the same mistake she did, go straight for another model!
Overall the grinds are great but the weak link in this is the plastic burr ring holder. I’ve replaced it quite possibly 10 times over the years. It’s almost guaranteed to break if moving from a French press to espresso grind. Once it breaks the grinds are inconsistent and not capable of espresso grind. It’s a good beginner grinder but be aware you may be replacing parts often.
