Gaggia Classic GT Espresso Machine

The Classic GT is Gaggia’s first-ever dual-boiler espresso machine, an Italian-made, commercial-grade prosumer with an impressive suite of features, like automated and manual 3g/second low-flow pre-infusion, volumetric shot programming, and a rapid 5-minute heat-up time. Dual PID controllers deliver extreme temperature precision with 1° adjustment of brew temperature and four pre-programmed steam temperatures. Internally, the GT is built to last, with custom brass components and a solid stainless steel frame.

Features:

• Dual Boiler: Two PID controlled boilers, one for steam and hot water delivery and one for the coffee extraction. A system studied to grant higher temperature stability and to allow the simultaneous delivery of coffee and steam
  
• Variable Soft Infusion: Three automated 3g/sec low flow pre-infusion settings can be switched on for light (2 sec active/1sec soak), medium (8 sec active/3sec soak) and dark (12 sec active/3sec soak)
  
• Pressure Gauge: Brew pressure gauge displays brew pressure during extraction allowing the user to get immediate feedback on how to adjust grind coarseness, dosage or tamp pressure for a perfect shot of espresso.
  
• 2.4” Color TFT Display: Inspired by the menus on Gaggia’s super-autos, the GT’s intuitive display gives you full access to programming options with easy to navigate menus.
• Externally-Adjustable OPV: Easy access to the OPV screw allows you to adjust brew pressure between 3 - 15 bar with the simple turn of a flathead screwdriver.
  
• Fast Heat Up Time: The Classic GT uses a quick-heat feature to achieve brewing temperatures in under 5 minutes, and steam temperatures in under 7, making it the fastest-heating dual-boiler available.
  
• 3 Way Solenoid Valve: The three-way solenoid valve relieves the pressure in the portafilter immediately after pulling a shot.  This leaves the coffee puck dry, making it easy to clean and pull the next shot.
