when grinding full hoppers of beans the novice coffee grinder operator often over fills the grounds bin which causes the grinder to plug up (compacted grounds in the area of the grinding burrs. The paddle wheel wears out if ground coffee doesn't drop freely into the bin. The finer the grind the more critical this becomes.
