BWT Bestcup Filter Adapter

The BWT Bestcup filter adapter allows you to install a BWT Bestcup filter cartridge in the water tank of your prosumer espresso machine. The adapter is small and can be placed anywhere within the water tank.

Notes:

Will NOT work with water tank that have a valve at the bottom of the tank instead of a draw tube.  NOT recommended for rotary pump expresso machines as the reduced water flow will damage the pump.

The Required Companion to the BWT Bestcup Premium Cartridge
The BWT Bestcup Filter Adapter is the fitting that connects the BWT Bestcup Premium filter cartridge to your espresso machine's water tank. The Bestcup Premium cartridge cannot be used without this adapter — it is what attaches the cartridge to the machine's draw tube (the internal hose or pipe through which the machine draws water from the tank into the pump). The adapter is compact, sized to fit within most prosumer and home espresso machine water tanks, and secured at the base of the tank with a suction cup — allowing it to be positioned wherever the draw tube inlet sits in your specific machine. Once in place, the Bestcup Premium cartridge connects to the adapter and water is drawn through the filter before it reaches the pump, delivering the 4-stage Magnesium Technology filtration inline with the machine's normal operation.

Compatibility — Read Before Ordering
The same compatibility restrictions that apply to the BWT Bestcup Premium cartridge apply here. The adapter will not work in tanks where the water intake is a valve at the bottom of the tank rather than a draw tube — the suction cup and draw tube attachment design requires a tube-based intake. It is also not recommended for rotary pump espresso machines: the Bestcup assembly reduces flow rate through the draw tube, which can damage a rotary pump over time. This adapter (and the Bestcup Premium cartridge) is suited to vibration pump machines with a draw tube tank — the configuration found in most prosumer home espresso equipment. SKU: KS00Y16X00.

Using the Bestcup System at Coffee Addicts
