E&B Moka Pot Competition Filter

by E&B Lab
$36.00

The Moka competition filter has been created to enhance the extraction of coffee from your Moka Pot.  Developing a filter with more smaller holes (0.2mm diameter) then the fewer and larger traditional ones (≈ 0,8mm diameter) allows for a perfect extraction by avoiding high pressured water that could damage the coffee puck. A cleaner beverage is obtained thanks to the reduction to the fine particles in the cup, in this way the acidity is increased while the bitterness is reduced.

Specifications:

  • Stainless steel filter ø 57 mm with 0.2mm holes
  • Transparent silicone gasket
  • Suitable for the majority of aluminum Moka Pots

    Perfect for a Bialetti

This is a game changer. Coffee tastes much better and cleaner. No residue in the pot. Highly recommend this upgrade to your Bialetti Moka.

Great moka coffee with a bit of improvement in the taste and slightly smoother as well. Overall very pleased with this screen.

    An excellent filter!

This competition filter is really a game changer. I prepared some of the single origin coffees that I already knew and it has allowed me to discover even more subtleties of their flavor profile. I think that this filter is really worth the extra money.

The filter screen does produce a cleaner cup. But it doesn't seem to be a perfect fit for my 3 cups Bialetti Moka express. The gasket isn't perfectly tight and it leaks a little while brewing.
