ECM Puristika Espresso Machine

The ECM Puristika is a masterpiece for espresso purists. With its slim design, separate water tank, and precise PID temperature control, it ensures perfect coffee enjoyment at barista level.  Also included are the ergonomic and weight balanced angled portafilters with metal ends that ECM is known for.  

The ECM Puristika is engineered and built in Germany; resulting in a very well built and reliable espresso machine.

Features:

• ECM patented E61 Group Head: The E61 brew head design has been around for over 50 years, but ECM significantly improved it in technology and design with their stainless steel mushroom.  The E61 group is known for its reliability and temperature stability due to heavy brass head combined with a thermosyphon system keeping the group head hot.  
• External Glass Tank: The external tank allows the machine to be much more compact and also makes it a lot easier to refill. As an added bonus, your water no longer sits in a plastic water tank like most other machines on the market,
• 0.75L Stainless Steel Boiler: The Puristika uses an insulated 0.75L stainless steel boiler for both brewing and steaming. Expect warm up times of about 11 minutes until brew-ready. 
• PID Temperature Control:  The PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller allows the user to precisely adjust the boiler temperature and improves temperature stability.  
• Brew Pressure Gauge: The brew pressure gauge displays brew pressure during extraction allowing the user to get immediate feedback on how to adjust grind coarseness, dosage or tamp pressure for a perfect shot of espresso.
• Externally adjustable OPV: Brew at the pressure you want thanks to an externally adjustable over pressure valve (OPV) via a dial on the front of the machine,
• Beautiful Finish:  The body, water tray and feet are made of stainless steel with no sharp edges and built for a long lasting and easy to clean finish.  The Puristika also features a rounded anthracite housing and external glass tank for a unique and elegant look.
