Gaggia Classic Steam Valve Assembly

The steam assembly takes 15 minutes to install, only 3 tools are required and the only disassembly required is 2 screws on the top of the chassis, two bolts on the steam assembly and removal of the steam wand - I high recommend a new O-ring for this assembly. Put it back together and voila! No leak from the steam wand.

Easy replacement fixed issue. Fast shipping = satisfied customer

Perfect part fit exactly. Only thing don't forget to order a new o ring. I forgot abd had to wait another weeknto change the valve. On the plus side they didn't charge me for shipping. I will definitely be buying my parts from coffee addicts.

I had to change this part after 2 1/2 years. Probably not the best design for a steam valve on a espresso machine. It cannot be clean or repair. Have to change the part. At least it is quite easy to do at home. Maybe order a new one as soon as it leaks a little or if it gets a bit hard to turn or you will be waiting for the new part whithout a good espresso.
As always great service at Coffee Addicts but as I pointed out last month, I think the delivery service could be faster with another company than Canada Post. Am I the only to notice that ?
