La Pavoni Professional Rebuild Gasket Kit

Coffee Addicts went above and beyond for me when I was recently rebuilding my vintage (early 1980’s) La Pavoni espresso machine. I needed a hard to find part, which they do not sell, but they sourced one for me allowing me to complete my rebuild.

This is a good comprehensive kit which allows the receiver to choose which gasket goes where. Unfortunately when a gasket has been in the machine for a while it becomes compressed and hard, and could resemble more than one in the kit. Using YouTube, which has been suggested as a source of information, is too vague to differentiate the parts. How easy would it be to produce a similar sheet common to that received with flat packed furniture, which has a printed sheet which you can place the parts on to identify what goes where.
I don't know if the gaskets I replaced in the group are the correct pieces, although as the machine operates OK I assume my choice was correct. It doesn't, however, guarantee that it will continue to do so.
An additional thing that would help immensely would be the inclusion of circlips and metal washers, which are so easy to damage on removal, or so corroded that they are hard to re-install, or just break.
Otherwise, assuming you know what you are doing, this is a perfectly good kit, and I recommend it.

I needed to replace the hard plastic "gasket" (though its not a gasket really) that connects the boiler to the grouphead. Mine was quite deteriorated, which can happen. I didn't know I'd have to replace mine - but these helped me out and I ordered the brass replacement from them and it worked well.
lesson learned: take it apart and assess what needs to be replaced BEFORE ordering.
