It snaps directly onto the rim of your portafilter basket using integrated magnets — locking securely in place without wobbling or slipping — and extends the effective opening of the basket into a clean funnel for grounds. Whether you're grinding directly into the portafilter under your grinder or transferring from a dosing cup, every gram of coffee goes exactly where it's supposed to go, with no residual grounds on the basket lip, the counter, or the portafilter ears.

Magnetic Hold, Stainless Build, Precise Fit The Pesado dosing ring is constructed from stainless steel with a matte black or white gloss finish, matching the build quality and aesthetic of the broader Pesado tool range. The magnetic connection is strong enough to hold the ring firmly in place even with tapping or vigorous WDT distribution — but releases cleanly with a simple lift when you're ready to tamp. Available in 54mm (compatible with baskets from 50–54mm, including Breville/Sage machines) and 58mm (fits all standard 58mm two-wing portafilters). Note: the dosing ring is an external puck prep tool and is not compatible with Breville grinder cradles or forks.
