Introducing the new Impact Gravity Distributor, designed to directly address the biggest issue when it comes to achieving consistent extractions, channeling. The new impact gravity distributor helps move the coffee grounds, by interlocking the particles creating less voids, reducing the chance of channeling. Resulting in improved consistency. Utilising impact technology, combined with Pesado's gravity and 6 blade technology, this distributor is like no other.
Ground Breaking Impact Technology: The patent pending impact technology addresses one of the main issues that causes channeling in your extraction. Now ensuring a consistently uniform distribution of coffee grounds within the puck, by utilizing precise, controlled vibrations, this feature helps to fill all the voids and eliminate any air pockets in the coffee grounds.
6 blades technology: Built with 6 blades the gravity distributor evens out the puck bed from the centre outwards with a consistent rate. With pointed plades the puck will be sqaured perfectly at the basket edge.
Adjustable speed: Built with an adjustable screw to speed up or slow down the gravity distribution blade, or lock off completely when you find perfect depth; giving you complete control over your distribution.
Specifications:
58.4mm diameter
Weight: 467.4g
6 blades for distribution
Helps ensure even distribution in coffee puck before tamping
Adjustable gravity distribution speed
Impact technology automatically engages when you spin the distributor clockwise.
The Distributor That Goes Beyond Levelling Most espresso distributors do one thing: they level the coffee bed by rotating a set of blades across the top of the puck. That's useful — but it doesn't address what's happening beneath the surface. Micro-voids and air pockets deep within the ground coffee bed create paths of least resistance during extraction, allowing water to channel through unevenly regardless of how flat the surface looks. The Pesado Impact Gravity Distributor was built to solve this — not just at the surface, but through the full depth of the puck, using two complementary technologies working simultaneously.
Impact Technology: Vibration That Fills the Voids When you spin the Impact Gravity Distributor clockwise, its patent-pending impact mechanism automatically engages. As it rotates, precisely controlled axial vibrations propagate through the puck bed, dislodging and collapsing micro-voids and air pockets that blade distribution alone can't reach. The particles interlock more tightly, reducing the gaps that cause channelling during extraction. The result is a denser, more uniform puck structure from the basket base to the surface — giving water nowhere to channel and producing a more balanced, consistent extraction. The impact mechanism engages automatically with clockwise rotation and requires no additional steps.
Gravity Technology: Self-Adjusting, Depth-Perfect Distribution The second innovation is the gravity blade system — a 6-blade design that solves the fundamental limitation of fixed-depth distributors. Fixed distributors are calibrated to a specific depth, which means any change in dose or basket size introduces room for error. The Pesado gravity system uses the distributor's own weight to let the blades find the natural resistance point of the puck bed, automatically adapting to different basket sizes and dose weights without any manual recalibration. An adjustable screw lets you speed up or slow down the blade, or lock it off completely once you've found your preferred depth for a given setup. Available in matte black and white gloss finishes, weighing in at a substantial 592g — the weight itself is part of how the gravity system works. Compatible with all 58mm portafilters and standard 58.5mm baskets.
Ordered this about a week ago and received it today. I was really excited to finally try it out, but unfortunately, the condition of the package immediately raised some concerns.
The original product box was covered in dust. After opening it, I noticed that the distributor was partially falling out of the cardboard packaging and was also covered in dust. At first, I assumed it might have simply come loose during shipping because of its weight.
However, after watching a couple of unboxing videos on YouTube, I noticed that there should be two layers of cardboard and plastic bag securing the distributor in place. My package only had one layer without any plastic bag.
I cleaned everything up and tested it. The tamping mechanism does work, but compared with the units shown in the videos, mine does not operate nearly as smoothly.
Update: After watching several more unboxing videos, I am now fairly certain that this is a defective item that was previously returned and then resold to me. If that is the case, I find this extremely disappointing and unprofessional. If a returned or defective item is being sold, customers should be informed upfront rather than receiving it as if it were a new product.
I have uploaded several photos showing what appears to be missing from the package (circled in red), as well as the condition of the package I received.
Very disappointed with this purchase and the way it was handled. Would have rated zero if there is a option.

open box item/returned item to sell at full price?
Ordered this week ago, received today and was really excited to try ot out.
But the original product box was covered in dust, opened it, the distributor was sitting half way falling out from the packing cardboard, and covered in dust as well. Initially I thought it probably just too heavy and after this long trip it fall out on its on weight. But I watch couple videos on YouTube, seems there should two layers of cardboard to keep it in place, this one only has one.
I cleaned and tried it out, the tamp mechnism seems working, but compare to the videos online, it is not working as smooth as what they showed.
I am very disappointed.
Update: I have view couple open box videos, this definitely a returned /open box item, and it is not working as smooth as it shows in the video.

White is not right !!
The Pesado distributor performs really well and does exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s well-built, easy to adjust, and consistently creates an even coffee bed.
My only criticism is the white version. The rubber band around the distributor stains almost immediately with normal use, making it look dirty even when it’s clean. If I had kept the original box, I would have returned it and exchanged it for the black version. If you’re thinking about buying one, I’d definitely recommend choosing a darker colour instead. Other than that, it’s a great product and I’m very happy with its performance.

Crucial
In my opinion, this distributor is a crucial accessory to make consistent, high quality espressos.
