Finca La Mina is located in the municipality of Buesaco in the north of Nariño, Colombia, 40 km north of Pasto in the central mountain range of the Andes. The farm is characterized by its excellent geographical location, fertile soils and good water reserves. Franco was the first coffee producer in the region of Buesaco, starting to grow coffee in 1985. Today his grandson, Jeison Lopez, is dedicated to the production and processing processes at the farm. The 16-hectare farm has 8 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation with 50,000 plants in production. La Mina has participated in events rewarding coffee quality for several years, beginning with the Cup of Excellence Colombia in 2005 and placing among finalists for several consecutive years. Notable achievements include 4th place in 2012 and 6th place in 2017. In 2024, the farm ranked 13th among 30 finalists in the Cup of my Nariño contest. Buesaco has a temperate and cool climate with average temperatures between 15°C and 20°C, with abundant rainfall especially from April to May and September to November.

Our Coffee Addicts Promise
We're passionate about fresh, flavourful coffee and we know you are too. For the best taste, enjoy your coffee within approximately 30 days of the roast date.
Coffee naturally oxidizes slowly over time, but it can still be enjoyed beyond this window. Any beans older than five weeks from roast are clearly marked and automatically discounted, giving you a great value on quality coffee.
