Rhino Coffee Gear has reimagined the tried and tested Spinjet valve system to meet the changing needs of the industry. With an all-new extended stainless steel body, coupled with CNC-milled Delrin, and robust seal components, the RH3PE valve provides customers with the ability to use the valve in hot water applications (Up to 55 degrees Celsius / 131 Degrees Fahrenheit).
Cleaning and maintaining your beverage pitchers properly is a multi-step process. Regular rinsing throughout the day is key to removing unwanted solids that can cause cross-contamination in your finished product, and lessen the life of the tools you used to produce them. The existing technology in Rhino’s patented Spinjet technology utilizes water pressure to channel flow into the cleaning jets, creating a fast rotating motion. This rotating movement creates a superior cleaning action that rinses matter away from the surface from multiple angles.
How do you improve a fantastic cleaning action when chemicals are not practical? We add temperature. Warm water assists in making a large number of contaminants more soluble which in turn, makes them easier to remove from a surface.
Suitable for the cleaning of beverage implements used in making fruit juices, non-dairy-based smoothies, and alcoholic, and non-alcoholic cocktails.
Certifications:
- The RH3PE-SPINSET valve is NSF certified to standard ASME 1812.19.13 / CSA B45.4 2017, when installed in conjunction with a sink that meets regulatory standards.
Installation Information:
- Depth Requirements: The Rhino rinsers are 40mm deep, however, this is without fittings. We recommend at least 150mm of clearance under the bench for basic connection (this includes fall for the drain hose). The actual depth may differ depending on the location of the drain, the location of the water supply, or whether you use an elbow or a straight connector.
- It is recommended that the RH3PE-SPINSET is installed in conjunction with a 350 kpa / 50 psi PLV.
- It is also recommended that the RH3PE-SPINSET is installed in conjunction with a Tempering valve set at no greater than 55 Degrees Celsius / 131 Degrees Fahrenheit.
When Cold Water Isn't Enough — The Hot-Water Spinjet
The standard Spinjet spray assembly is a cold-water-only device. For environments where warm water significantly improves the cleaning result — juice bars, smoothie bars, cocktail bars, and any setup where fruit-based or alcohol-based residues are being rinsed from pitchers, blender jugs, and mixing vessels — Rhino has developed the 3-EDP variant. The RH3PE-SPINSET uses the same spray-and-spin Spinjet mechanism, but with a redesigned extended stainless steel body, CNC-milled Delrin components, and EPDM seals that are rated for continuous use up to 55°C (131°F). Warm water makes a wide range of residues more soluble — breaking down fruit sugars, syrups, and alcohol-based deposits that cold water alone doesn't fully remove in a single press.
Construction, Certification and Installation Requirements
The RH3PE-SPINSET is NSF certified to ASME 1812.19.13 / CSA B45.4 2017 when installed in conjunction with a sink that meets regulatory standards — appropriate for commercial food service environments where certification is required. Two additional components are needed for correct installation: a Pressure Limiting Valve (PLV) at 350 kpa / 50 psi to regulate the water supply pressure, and a tempering valve set to no greater than 55°C / 131°F to ensure the water temperature stays within the assembly's rated range. The standard Spinjet connection and installation principles apply — 40mm rinser depth without fittings, minimum 150mm under-bench clearance for the drain and water supply connections.
How It Differs from the Standard Spinjet Options
Three Spinjet spray assembly products are available at Coffee Addicts, and understanding the distinction is important before ordering. The Rhino Spinjet Spray Assembly & Actuator Plate (cold water only, $93.50 less) is the standard retrofit for existing rinsers using cold water. The Rhino Spinjet Upgrade (RHSPINUPGRADE, $93.50) is the valve-only cold-water retrofit without the actuator plate. This 3-EDP assembly (RH3PE-SPINSET, $235) is specifically for hot-water environments requiring temperatures above what the standard silicone seals can handle. If you're replacing gaskets in an existing RH3PE-SPINSET, the compatible service kit is the Rhino Spinjet Rinser HOT Valve Service Gasket Kit (EPDM variant, distinct from the standard RHSPVSK-01).
