Sam James Coffee Bar's Quetzal captures the celebrated character of Huehuetenango, Guatemala's premier coffee-growing region. This medium roast brings together Bourbon, Caturra, Catimor, Maragogype, and Pache varietals from smallholder farms working at elevations between 1400 and 2200 meters. The cup delivers graham cracker sweetness, rich sponge toffee, and delicate pear notes with a clean, balanced finish. Whether you're brewing pour over, filter, or pulling espresso shots, Quetzal offers the kind of consistent, approachable quality that keeps you coming back cup after cup.

We love fresh coffee as much as you do. That’s why we recommend enjoying your coffee within 7–28 days of the roast date for the best flavour.
Coffee is still widely enjoyed well beyond this window, with oxidation happening slowly over time. Any coffees past five weeks from roast will always be clearly indicated and automatically discounted.
