From the high elevations of Lafu in Menglian, Yunnan comes this rare anaerobic sun-dried natural coffee that invites you to explore something truly different. Grown by producer Wang at around 1600 metres, the Catimor cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, sealed for a 10 day anaerobic fermentation and then shaded to dry over 30 to 45 days for a deeply expressive cup. Expect vibrant notes of jackfruit, tart cranberry and warm star anise with a tea-like body and lively clarity that celebrates the unique terroir of southern China’s emerging coffee frontier.
