Finca el Puente Catuaí Espresso is a rich, chocolaty coffee from renowned Honduran producers Marysabel Caballero and Moises Herrera in Chinacla, La Paz. This Catuaí lot, part of the majority planting across their farms, is de-pulped with mechanical mucilage removal, fermented overnight, washed, and shade-dried on raised beds near their Marcala home for optimal quality. Tim Wendelboe's multi-year collaboration has resulted in specialized protocols for the lots they purchase: hand sorting, raised bed drying under shade nets, and careful grain pro storage. The result is a sweet, uncomplicated coffee with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, nuts, and an herbal finish.
