Cafetto Milk Frother Cleaner (MFC) Blue - 9g Tablets

Cafetto MFC Blue alkaline milk frother cleaner tablets are formulated to clean automatic coffee machine milk lines and frothers. Regular use of MFC® Tabs Blue will not only clean the milk system but also remove milk-stone from the lines and system components. Alternating cleans with MFC® Tabs Red will provide an all-over clean for all milk components.

Directions: 

TO CLEAN MILK LINES AND FROTHERS:

1. Flush out milk system with 500mL of fresh water.
2. Add 1 tablet to 500mL warm water (75˚C) in a container or jug.
3. Stir until tablet is completely dissolved.
4. Flush the entire solution through the milk system following the machine manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.
5. Once the solution is dispensed, rinse the container. Fill the container with 1 Litre of clean water and flush through the milk system to thoroughly rinse.

TO CLEAN MILK SYSTEM MACHINE PARTS:

1. Add 1 tablet per 500mL of warm water (75˚C) in a container.
2. Stir until tablet is completely dissolved.
3. Add parts to be cleaned and allow to soak for 30 minutes.
4. Rinse thoroughly in clean water and dry with paper towel or clean cloth.

MFC Blue tablets are NSF listed: tested and evaluated to meet NSF's toxicological and corrosivity standards, confirming the formulation leaves no harmful residues and does not cause corrosion in coffee machine components. One tablet per cleaning session is the standard dose — low-foaming, quickly dissolving, and effective across the full milk pathway. Regular daily use on high-volume milk machines prevents the progressive buildup that leads to blocked lines and service calls. For soaking removable frothing components — steam wand tips, frothing attachments, drip trays — dissolve one tablet per 500ml of warm water (75°C), submerge parts for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and dry.

MFC Blue, Red, and Green — The Complete Picture
MFC Blue is the alkaline daily tablet in Cafetto's three-part milk system cleaning range. Alternating with MFC Red (acidic tablets, weekly) provides a more thorough clean than either product alone: Blue addresses alkaline-soluble residues and fresh milk fouling daily, Red addresses acidic-soluble mineral deposits and established milk-stone weekly. MFC Green is the organic liquid alternative for daily use — the same basic function as Blue but in liquid form with an ACO organic certification.
