Lelit Wood Upgrade Kit For Bianca

I purchased these as replacements for the light wood wood on a black unit. This was entirely a luxury/cosmetic purchase so I won't begrudge the price here. You can decide if it's worth it for you.

Pros:
1. Look great!
2. They include two matching portafilters to (mostly) complete the look
3. The packaging and directions are excellent.
Cons:
1. When I initially put the new knobs on the machine they went on quite tight and didn't spin nearly as smoothly as the stock knobs. Upon removal and inspection, I found that the brass threads inside the knobs were covered in the black paint as the knobs. I cleaned the threading with wood picks and nylon pipe cleaners and afterwards they worked as well as the originals. This isn't a huge deal but it doesn't speak well for their process that you need to opt in a half-hour of cleaning and detailing right out of the box.
Odd:
Not a con per se (it's clear from the description that one isn't included and I didn't expect one): They don't include a replacement handle for the tamper. It's a little thing but it still seems odd since they _do_ include portafilters and the tamper handle ends up as the sole mismatched piece from the stock machine.
