La Pavoni Stainless Steel Group Head Sleeve

Sold out
$98.50

Coffee Sensor La Pavoni stainless steel group head sleeve replacement.  This is a direct replacement for the OEM plastic sleeve that most Pavoni owners dislike.  It won't solve the overheating problem that can occur with the La Pavoni lever machines, but will improve temperature surfing, recovery time.  It is also precisely deigned to improve water flow.

This will fit all Millennium lever machines that use the plastic group head sleeve (La Pavoni part 371133).

Does not include the o-ring that must be purchased separately.  We also recommend using some food safe grease on the o-ring.

Also available in brassThe sleeves have been tested in brass and stainless steel with very little differences between the two materials so it's just a matter of personal preference.

Notes:

  • The stainless steel sleeves are hand made and might have some finish difference from the manufacturing process.  This will not impact functionality.
  • The metal sleeve is slightly harder to get inside the group head but is well worth it!
  • Take precaution when installing the sleeve to ensure it is not cross-threaded
  • We recommend using the sleeve removal tool to simplify the process.

A worthwhile upgrade

When the lever of our Europiccola jammed recently it was clear some TLC was overdue. While confirming that Coffee Addicts had the necessary gaskets in stock this replacement for the stock plastic sleeve was suggested. It's not a cheap item but when I disassembled the group and saw how worn the plastic sleeve was it was clear that a replacement was in order. So why not get a metal one that would not need to be replaced in 2 1/2 years?

Now that the machine is back together I am frankly amazed how much better it pulls with this sleeve. There's no question that new o-rings and grease makes a big difference too but the lever was never so easy to operated even when it was new. Of course time will tell how it settles in but initial impressions are very favorable.

I had some difficulty getting the new metal sleeve threaded into the group. I was concerned about cross threading and so was reluctant to use too much force while turning the sleeve. But that's what was necessary and after a couple false starts the sleeve went on fine. This difficulty is, presumably, a consequence of the new o-ring and in hindsight to be expected. I am very appreciative for the help provided by the staff at Coffee Addicts while we figured it out.

This is a worthwhile upgrade to consider for the next time you are removing the group. Though pricey the tool to remove the sleeve is recommended as well.

The best part of this order wasn’t so much the actual part I ordered but the outstanding service I got from Coffee Addicts. It took less then 24 hours to receive, so I only had to go one day without a Pavoni coffee!
It is great, does what it was designed to do but like it says in the description it is tough to install.
Thank you Coffee Addict for the great service!

perfect fit, nice and smooth

I was able to thread this in and tighten it down with the sleeve removal tool. The gasket between the sleeve and the group head makes the sleeve tough to insert/remove without the tool

Fit perfectly and I'm looking forward to being able to get it out if I ever need to. Since it's stainless steel, I don't expect I'll have to do anything for a long time.
